Simon Community Scotland
Simon Community Scotland provides safe places and support for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness in Scotland.
Requirements: informal interview, 2 character references, PVG (assistance provided), and a minimum of 2 shifts per month (~3 hours each).

Volunteering opportunities
1. Street Team

Pair up to find and assist people sleeping rough, provide support, and signpost to services.
2. Cycle Team

Similar to the street team but covers greater distances, including prescription and food delivery.
3. We See You
-
Harm reduction service that fosters community and connection for people experiencing homelessness and using substances, without judgment or a requirement to stop using drugs.

4.Hub Team

Location: Nicholson Square Methodist Church basement

Details: Provide a space for vulnerable people to read, have tea, and socialise.​
