Bethany Christian Trust is a Scotland wide charity which started in Edinburgh focusing on homeless and vulnerable people.

Volunteering Opportunities Include:

Rapid Accommodation Service
Help provide accommodation for homeless individuals in hotels during winter months, with tasks like preparing teas, assisting with activities, and interacting with service users (PVG required).

Care Van
Distribute food and hot drinks around Edinburgh. Volunteer as a driver (UK license required) or assist with food distribution (no requirements).

Bethany Christian Centre
Support men recovering from addiction in a residential setting. Roles include food preparation, cleaning, and engaging with residents (PVG and Christian background required).

Retail Charity Shops
Assist with customer service and store maintenance in charity shops across Edinburgh (no requirements).

Passing the Baton
Provide friendship and support to individuals overcoming addiction and social isolation (Christian background required).

Bridge to Freedom
Help with group meetings for women overcoming addiction. Engage with service users and offer support (PVG, female, and Christian background required).

Bethany House
Support homeless individuals preparing for tenancy by assisting with activities and interacting with residents (PVG required).
